De 2cd bevat de musical "Chess In Concert" dat in mei 2008 in de Royal Albert Hall (Londen) gegeven werd. Geschreven door Tim Rice en Benny Andersson is "Chess" 25 jaar na dato nog steeds een prachtige musical.
De cast bestaat uit Idina Menzel als Florence, Adam Pascal als Frederick, Josh Groban als Anatoly Sergievsky, Kerry Ellis als Svetlana, David Bedella als Molokov, Clarke Peters als Walter en Marti Pellow als de scheidsrechter. Het ensemble bestaat uit Grant Anthony, Christopher Colley, Tiffany Graves, Leila Benn Harris, David Michael Johnson, Debbie Kurup, Aoife Mulholland en Tabitha Webb. Ze worden ondersteund door het 50-koppige London Philharmonic orkest onder leiding van David Firman en het 100-koppige West End koor. Met een introductie van Tim Rice voorafgaand aan de voorstelling.
